UV Paint and PU Paint
UV paint refers to a type of paint that uses ultraviolet light curing technology. This kind of paint must be exposed to ultraviolet light for 2 seconds on specialized equipment to fully cure. After curing, the surface of UV paint has a certain degree of hardness and wear resistance, with a hardness of 4H per unit area.
PU paint,on the other hand, uses polyurethane paint.
The main differences between the two are as follows:
1, Different processing methods.
The light curing process used by UV paint is pollution-free during the application, making it more environmentally friendly than PU paint. From a factory processing perspective,it benefits the health of workers and the environment. From a production standpoint,it is a newer and more advanced product. However, for consumers, the solvents in the paint surface have already evaporated during the processing,so whether it is UV paint produced using the light curing process or PU paint produced using traditional methods,it does not pose a pollution hazard to the user.
In terms of process,UV paint has a better gloss.
2,In terms of use,the hardness and wear resistance of UV paint are superior to those of PU paint.
