1. Application

This precision collet flange base is a core clamping and mounting component customized for industrial automation transmission systems, servo motor output shaft connections and precision instrument positioning mechanisms. 2. Material & Performance

3. Processing Method

This part adopts 5-axis linkage CNC turn-mill composite machining process, integrally cutting and forming from a solid aluminum bar, completely avoiding the hidden danger of structural strength caused by welding/splicing.

  • Core processes: precision milling of elastic jaws, high-precision drilling/tapping of flange plate, radial positioning hole machining of shaft body, precision turning of end face
  • Auxiliary processes: high-gloss contour chamfering, deburring, surface sandblasting/brushing treatment, ensuring no sharp edges and stress concentration on the elastic jaws
  • Full CNC programming realizes one-time clamping forming, ensuring the coaxiality and clamping accuracy of the elastic jaws, meeting high repeated positioning requirements
4. Machining Accuracy & Usage Requirements

Machining Accuracy:

  • Dimensional tolerance: ±0.01mm, strictly matching the clamping clearance requirements of shaft parts
  • Geometric tolerance: coaxiality of elastic jaws ≤0.015mm, flatness of flange plate ≤0.02mm
  • Surface roughness: Ra≤1.6μm, smooth and burr-free clamping surface of elastic jaws, improving clamping stability

Usage Requirements:

  • Adapt to a wide temperature working environment of -20℃~80℃, can withstand high speed ≥8000rpm and torque transmission ±30N·m
  • No elastic fatigue or clamping looseness during long-term use, ensuring the repeated positioning accuracy of shaft transmission ≤0.01mm

5. Heat Treatment

With heat treatment, adopting solution treatment + artificial aging (T6 state) process.

6. Post-treatment

  • Process advantages: improve surface wear resistance and scratch resistance, enhance the friction and anti-slip property of the clamping surface, optimize the appearance texture, facilitate visual inspection and assembly positioning inside the equipment, fully meet environmental protection requirements, and can be used directly without additional coating.
