1. Application

Adopting bionic truss hollow‑out structure, it achieves weight reduction while maintaining structural strength. One side is equipped with hinge boss for rotational joint assembly, multiple threaded mounting positions are used to fix internal gears, cylinders, guide rails and other functional components. It undertakes overall structural support, component positioning and rotational joint load‑bearing, widely applied in model toy blasters as high‑strength lightweight base frame.

2. Material & Performance

Core Material: 6061‑T6 Aluminum Alloy Key Performance:

  • Tensile strength ≥310 MPa, yield strength ≥276 MPa. Truss reinforced ribs provide good bending resistance, resistant to deformation and fracture under repeated impact loads.
  • Density 2.7 g/cm³. Large‑area hollow design effectively reduces overall weight and improves handling comfort.

3. Processing Method

  • Core processes: special‑shaped profile milling, multi‑set truss hollow window milling, boring of hinge boss hole, drilling & tapping for counter‑sink and threaded holes, milling of reinforced ribs and step surfaces.
  • Auxiliary processes: full edge chamfering and thorough deburring, remove chips from hollow slots and threaded holes.
  • Single‑setup machining for complex multi‑angle features to guarantee hinge hole coaxiality and mounting hole positional accuracy.

4. Machining Accuracy & Usage Requirements

Machining Accuracy:

  • Dimensional tolerance: ±0.015 mm
  • Geometric tolerance: hinge boss hole coaxiality ≤0.02 mm, mounting hole position tolerance ≤0.02 mm
  • Surface roughness: Ra ≤1.6 μm, uniform matte finish after black anodizing. Usage Requirements:
  • Operating temperature: ‑10℃ ~ +60℃, withstand impact and alternating stress from repeated operation.
  • Hinge hole precision ensures smooth rotation without jamming; mounting holes guarantee accurate assembly of internal parts.
  • Truss ribs are load‑bearing structures; avoid violent external bending. Do not over‑tighten assembly screws to prevent cracking on thin‑wall sections.
  • Prevent heavy scratching by sharp objects to avoid damage to anodized coating.

5. Heat Treatment

Heat‑treated with solution treatment plus artificial aging (T6).

  • Purpose: relieve residual milling stress, prevent twisting distortion of complex thin‑walled hollow structure, stabilize hole and profile dimensions, improve overall mechanical strength.

6. Post‑treatment

Black hard anodizing.

  • Uniform black oxide layer is formed to enhance surface hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Matte black appearance improves visual quality; oxide film evenly covers outer surfaces and inner hollow slots.

7. Quality Control

Full‑process quality control according to ISO9001:

  • Incoming inspection: spectroscopic material verification for 6061‑T6 with material certificate.
  • In‑process patrol inspection: focus on hinge‑hole coaxiality and mounting‑hole position; monitor twisting deformation of thin‑wall hollow sections.
  • Final inspection: full dimensional test; visual check for burrs and chipping; black anodizing inspection for uniform film thickness, no exposure of base material and no color difference; traceable inspection records per batch.
  • Pre‑shipment cleaning: thoroughly clear aluminum chips and anodizing residues from hollow gaps and threaded holes for assembly.
  • Industrial Packaging: Each piece wrapped by PE protective film to protect anodized surface and hinge holes. EPE foam gaskets separate parts to avoid scratch. Packed into anti‑static cartons filled with pearl‑cotton cushioning. Export‑grade corrugated outer cartons labeled with part name, part number and batch number.
